TIPS FOR PREPARING YOUR FILES FOR
OUTPUT
For optimum results, please follow the
following guidelines when you send files to our
FTP:
- Please do not use
any compression when saving TIFF files.No LZW files can be
accepted.
- Use CMYK images.
Please: no RGB images.
- Use Master
Pages.
- Please do not copy
and paste from Illustrator into InDesign.
- Do not use
TRANSPARENCY in InDesign, if a tint will give you the same
effect.
- Please: do not
use JPEGs.
- Please contact us
for our die-cut templates if your job incorporates a die. We will
be happy to email you the appropriate template.
- Send single pages -
no reader spreads, please.
- Make certain your
pages are in the proper order in your files.
- If your project
bleeds, please make certain you incorporate the additional image to
accommodate a bleed.
- Please send all
fonts, links, art, scans, etc., with your page layout
document.
- Please: do not
embed images, Except on PDF's
- High resolution
PDFs for print are fine. Please make certain these PDFs are the
correct size, with bleed if appropriate. These PDFs should have the
fonts and images embedded and outlined. Please do not add crop
marks.
